• My main photographic interest is the creation of
  • 360° Panoramas and how they can be transformed into
  • Panoramic Projections. In particular
  • scrolls are a current interest of mine. An article about scrolls is here and as a pdf here.
  • An article "Panoramas and Perspective" [1] discusses the practical and aesthetic aspects of creating 360° panoramas and converting them into panoramic projections.
  • An article "Perspective and Pictorial Space" gives an historical perspective on perspective.
  • I use hugin to stitch the panoramas from a sequence of photographs taken as described here.
  • I use mathmap within GIMP to generate panoramic projections using my own
  • mathmap filters available here
